As hunters, we love to display our trophies in our homes and/or office. For me though, it is not only about showing off last season’s harvest, it’s also a reminder of the experience. All of us have a story or adventure to share. I could listen for hours as my grandpa tells story after story of the harvests he has made over the last thirty years. And most often, these stories are told standing in front of a shoulder mount or plaque mount.
But, when you consider mounts and displays, there are a couple issues to consider. Shoulder mounts can cost upwards of $500, and they take up a good bit of space.
